High above
one solid bright cloud
spans the sky.
Below,
soft frozen blanket
covers the earth.
Perfect crystals drift down
from the heavens;
from the heavens;
gently brush our faces--
frozen angel tears.
All is white...
purified
refreshed
renewed
baptized by winter's frozen grace.

ReplyDeleteyou capture the magic of snow so well here ginny.. the weatherforecast brought snow for today over here...looking forward to it..
ReplyDeleteGinny, There's a great symmetry to this...earth and sky joined in the whiteness, with your human presence to provide wonderment. I hope the spirit of the season is kind to you and yours.

Mmmm ...beautiful white world. Lovely
ReplyDeleteYou set the scene well, Ginny. If I were an angel, I would be spending a lot of time crying over mankind right now. best wishes for a bright New Year.
