God bless the ones who took a stand
who stood their watch on foreign soil
duty-bound by their command
God bless the ones who held their ground
who never waivered in defeat
when fires from hell came raining down
God bless the ones who ne'er came home
the ones who paid the highest price
with grateful hearts we bow our heads
and honor what you sacrificed.
