My New England

    What wonderfully flowing verse you create within the form. Your scenes are very evocative of my own locale in eastern New York. I enjoyed this a great deal--Very well done!

  11. Oh to be in New England in July. What sweetness that would be. Cool on so many levels. You capture it well here. For those of us in Texas, even if we've visited there, it holds a mystique found in those forbidden novels of our youth - Peyton Place, John O'Hara, Fitzgerald...it housed all the finest in the world and when I got to Newport, I knew it was true!

  13. sultry summer. Yes, I have actually come to love this about the south. (just wish I had a fantastic porch!) Beautiful and serene and very ... peaceful. This is what home should be.
