Foreplay

Boris Hopek's Tokyo Exhibit:"Ever"

Unhook…unclip…while slow we slip and sway;
dispense pretense; begin the dance risqué.
Soft breaths imply...intensify…convey…
igniting heat, scent moist and sweet; replay.

Caress, digress; find youthful lust astray--
no rings, no strings to hinder this ballet.
We feed the need and shun the roles we play;
adrift to sift the remnants of that day.

  3. This is great, Ginny! Erotic poetry...good erotic poetry...is hard to come by. It's a fine line that separates coy and playful from blunt and overt.

    Cheers,

    1. Thanks Mark, quite different from my usual writing, but fun to stretch and try something new. (Blunt and overt is definitely not my style!)

  21. oooh Ginny I say you are getting naughty... are we a bad influence on you haha! (just kidding). Well managed monorhyme (it can be cumbersome and monotonous if not written well in my humble opinion, great job here :)

    1. Luke, not a bad influence surely, but definitely an influence!! I will admit that this was in no small way influenced by Julie and the wonderful sensuality in her writing and words. I kept that in mind throughout writing this. Am my own worst critic though, and while this surely may have benefited from the board, was my usual timid self about posting. Still feel like a "poser" among such amazing writers. Appreciate your kind words!
