Damaged Goods

He found another
to fill his needs

bright, rich, sleek

to fit his
narcissistic
lifestyle

and left me
used and tainted…

forgotten by the wayside

  6. Ha! This was fun to write-expunging really ancient demons! At 20, had been dating someone for a few months. Right after the holidays he showed up at a place that we frequented with another girl on his arm, wearing the gift I'd given him for Christmas! Nervy huh?!! There are names for guys like this, but I fear "unprintable" in polite company!!

  10. How cruel can it be! That's the way of the world. Used and abused and left to fend for itself!
